STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION

We know it can be hard to translate even the best sustainability strategy into feasible actions and get them implemented on the ground.

We work with your teams to:

  • Make sure all business functions can identify sustainability-related business opportunities to improve costs, sales, margin & reputation

  • Use your sustainability data and materiality analysis to understand the risks for different departments and sourcing origins,

  • Develop realistic action plans, business cases and time-bound KPIs for each function, linked to budgets and resource allocation

  • Support implementation planning and execution, providing hands-on trouble shooting support as needs change.

SUPPLY CHAIN DUE DILIGENCE

The EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) will require large companies, and many of their suppliers to have effective systems in place to identify and mitigate human rights and environmental risks and remediate harm if it occurs.

We work with your teams and suppliers to:

  • Use your sustainability data to identify concrete actions to address environmental and human rights risks and impacts adapted to the places where the problems occur

  • Build awareness and train suppliers to implement practices that protect human rights and the environment

  • Work with suppliers to take realistic actions they can understand and implement

  • Identify partners who can support long term solutions to address grievances and support risk mitigations and remediation

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

We know that the key to implementing sustainable practices and executing real change is getting everyone on board. Its people that make change happen and they can only do this when they see why it matters to them and they know what they need to do:

We work with your teams to:

  • Engage colleagues accross the organisation to make sustainability relevant for each function and each individual

  • Build the business case for sustainability action based on key business objectives.

  • Empower staff across the business to identify opportunities and develop innovations in the areas they know best

  • Support, facilitate and coach your teams to work collaboratively to address sustainability risks and execute your strategy

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

We understand that the key to successful sustainability strategy setting, materiality assessment and risk management is to involve all the stakeholders that will make relevant decisions, allocate the required resources and can facilitate (or block) action.

Engagement is even more essential to address risks and take action in supply chains that involve multiple players, and operate in distant places and outside a company's direct control.

We work with your teams and with your suppliers to:

  • Map, identify and engage stakeholders to understand site specific issues and co-design realistic solutions

  • Create partnerships with government, NGOs, service providers and local communities to maximise resources and align action to address complex social and environmental issues

COMMUNICATIONS

Mandatory sustainability reporting means all companies are reporting on the same metrics. Communicating your targets is no longer enough - companies need to stand out by the actions they are taking.

We work with your teams to:

  • Build and communicate a compelling narrative based on the sustainability impact you want to be known for

  • Turn your reporting on your sustainability action into a competitive differentiator

  • Communicate your sustainability solutions to customers, investors and employees so you stand out in the market

CREDIBLE CLAIMS

Corporate sustainability claims are coming under more and more scrutiny from regulators, investors and consumers. The EU Green Claims Directive will soon prohibit companies making green claims that are not backed up by evidence.

We work with your teams to:

  • Review and assess the data that backs up your sustainability claims

  • Verify the robustness of sustainability claims

  • Make sure your company is ready for third party audit or assurance of your sustainability claims
